Low Vision Rehabilitation Network (LVRN)

We invite you to join LVRN and depending on eligibility

  • Participate in the online Low Vision Rehabilitation Consensus Project
  • Take free online continuing professional education courses
  • Follow progress and critique our collaborative research projects
  • Exchange ideas and views with colleagues in online forums
  • Participate in live online low vision case conferences
  • Participate in live online low vision research symposia
  • Participate in an online "What's New in Low Vision" website
  • Help plan the Low Vision Rehabilitation Outcomes Project

Membership in LVRN is free and open to low vision rehabilitation practitioners, researchers, students, educators, administrators, policy-makers, business people, and anyone else who is interested in advances in the field of low vision rehabilitation.

If you are interested in joining the LVRN, complete the registration page and enter the requested information. Upon registering, you will be a member of LVRN. After we have reviewed your enrollment information, your login name and password will be sent to you by email and you will be notified of your eligibility for certain components of LVRN that are limited to practicing clinicians and/or researchers.

How to use the site

How do I enroll in the Technology Update course or the ACVREP low vision demonstration project website?

  • Log in to LVRN using your user name and password
  • Click on Sample Courses in the right hand column after logging in
  • Click on the button next to the course or project in which you want to enroll
  • Click on OK button to return to your list of courses and projects

 

What do I do if I forget my user name and/or password?

  • Click on the Log In button
  • When you get to the next page click on Lost Password?
  • Enter the email address that you gave us when you enrolled in the LVRN
  • Click on submit
  • Your user name and password will be sent to you

 

How do I change my password?

  • Log in to the LVRN as usual
  • Click on Modify my profile in the right hand column
  • Under Change Password enter your new password and then enter your new password again
  • Click on Update

 

How do I change my email address?

  • Log in to the LVRN as usual
  • Click on Modify my profile in the right hand column
  • After Email enter your new email address
  • Click on Update

 

How do I increase the print size on my screen?

  • You need to change your browser settings
  • For Internet Explorer, click on View in the menu bar, then click on text size, then choose a larger text size from the scroll down menu
  • For other browsers, look under help to obtain directions for changing print size
